Curative Properties: Tea prepared with the leaves of lemon beebrush, in addition to its values, has a very good aroma, similar to that of lemon. They are rich in essential oil and have a small content of citric acid. Lemon beebrush, herba Luiza, or with the Latin name Aloysia Citrodora in addition to having a pleasant taste, is used also for the discomforts arising from the difficulty of digestion, to release gases from the intestines, soothen spasms of the soft muscles of the stomach. It opens the appetite and helps achieve a better digestion of food. Above all, they make Limonçina a very good tea with dietary and soothing effects. For specific uses, we recommend consulting your family doctor.  It is recommended that after a regular use of three weeks, a break of ten days is made and then it can be started again.

Preparation: Pour 1-2 teaspoons (2.5 grams) into a container (200ml) and add freshly boiled water to the contents. Cover with a lid and leave for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. The juice is strained and drunk, sweetened with honey or sugar as desired. Drink up to 2-3 times a day.
