Curative Properties: Sage leaves contain flavonoids and tannin and have good curative and regenerative qualities for the nervous and digestive systems. It helps against diarrhea, as well as relieves women during the menstrual cycle. Sage in itself is a very good natural preservative. It is used in cases of bronchitis, depression, as well as in gargle form in infections of the mouth or tonsils. It is used as a body and skin wash in rheumatic diseases as well as being quite efficient in excessive sweating or simply in avoiding body odor.

Preparation: Add a tablespoon of sage in a container, then add freshly boiled water. Cover with a lid and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink sweetened with sugar or honey 2 times a day.
