Ingredients: Sage, mint, rose, walnut leaves, coltsfoot, elderflower, yarrow, thyme, white mallow, chamomile, blackberry leaves, plantain leaves, strawberry leaves, fennel, etc.
Healing properties: The leaves of mint, sage and thyme, the flowers of chamomile, and fennel, thanks to the essential oils and other active substances they contain, have inhibitory and disinfectant properties against common and chronic infections of the throat. Strawberry, blackberry, and walnut leaves have soothing properties for stress and help protect the heart by lowering blood cholesterol. Wild rose is said to promote rapid recovery from colds, help with bronchitis and laryngitis, and support the body's immune system. Plantain leaves act on the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Elderflowers and yarrow flowers, due to their tannins and vitamins P, C, and K, have disinfectant and soothing properties and are anti-inflammatory for irritation of the throat and mouth. Mallow is effective against inflammation of the respiratory tract and throat, helping to loosen and expel phlegm.
Preparation: Add one large tablespoon of the mixture to a container of boiling water (the amount for one cup of tea), stir, cover with a lid, and leave for 7–10 minutes. Strain and drink warm 2–3 times a day. It may be sweetened with sugar or honey according to taste.
