Composition: Sage, pennyroyal, rose, walnut leaf, coltsfoot, elderflower, yarrow, savory, marshmallow, chamomile, hawthorn, plantain, strawberry leaf, fennel, etc.
Curative properties : The leaves of pennroyal, sage, thyme, chamomile flowers and fennel, thanks to the essences and other active substances they contain, have inhibitory and disinfecting properties for common and chronic throat infections. Strawberry, hawthorn and walnut leaves have stress-relieving abilities and protect the heart by lowering blood cholesterol. Wild rose is a catalyst for quick recovery from colds, against bronchitis and laryngitis, as well as in protecting the body's immunity. Plantain leaves act on the parathyroid and thyroid. The flowers of the yarrow and the elderflower thanks to the content of tannins, vitamins P, C and K have disinfecting and softening abilities, they are anti-inflammatory for the irritation of the throat and mouth. The marshmallow works successfully against inflammation of the respiratory tract and throat by facilitating phlegm extraction.
Preparation: Pour a large spoon (tablespoon) of the mixture into a container of boiling water (measure for a cup of tea), stir and leave covered with a lid for 7-10 minutes. Strain and drink lukewarm 2-3 times a day. Sweeten with sugar or honey as desired.
