Curative Properties: Lemon, ginger and hibiscus tea is a perfect combination of spicy taste and medicinal values. Used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine. Ginger root or rhizome has been used since ancient times in many applications as one of the most respected plants. It has been used to aid blood circulation, joints, digestion and the removal of excess water through sweating. Lemon is one of the richest plants in vitamin C while hibiscus is rich in antioxidants and iron.
Preparation: One filter is recommended to be used for one cup of tea. Add freshly boiled water (100 ºC) to the cup, trying not to pour it on top of the filter, to avoid bloating it. Leave for 5-6 minutes and then consume, sweetening with honey or sugar as desired. It can be accompanied by a slice of lemon or orange.
